I realize that doesn’t mean much at the moment because we haven’t explained it well, but basically my home is idk arguably cursed

we could’ve been cursed by a being or like so much shitty stuff happens that it just FEELS like a curse

oh so there’s this doctor named Jonathan Crane who got all obsessed with fear for some reason and makes psychoactive drugs that trigger sensations of fear and he put it in gaseous form. you basically have not had a true Gotham experience until you’ve been hit by it some random day and had a panic attack while hallucinating your worst fears

and he's human? because that sounds like something one of the jerkier gods would do. like eros or hera. the gods are big on making you prove yourself by facing yourself
