[ A few minutes later, there’s a knock on the fire escape window of the apartment. Nico didn’t want to fuss with getting buzzed in. ]

[It’s not the first time someone’s entered through a window and it’s certainly not the last. Tim opens the window - which happens to be the one in his room - and steps back to let Nico climb in.]

Hey. Uh, I should’ve warned you, there’s a dog in the apartment, but she’s asleep in her crate.

[ Nico clambers in through the window and shuts it behind him, staying close to the window while he looks for the dog. ]

I’ll stay away from the dog.

[ He shrugs off the backpack he’s carrying. ]

I brought games.

She’s in the living room, so we could just stay in here.

[For a teenager’s room, it doesn’t look too bad. Tim’s probably tidier than your average teenager, at least at this point.]

[ He only grabbed the games to have an excuse to stay. Nico opens the bag and names the games as he stacks them on the bed. ]

I’ve got Wobbly Werewolves, a couple Sorcery: The Happening decks, Flow, and Gary Stu.

I got the games when Hunter was hurt. I used to play card games a lot.
