[And he may not be angry at Tim, personally, but he's clearly angry at something Robin represents. Which is a problem.]

Yeah. I have. A lot happened to me after I died. But this is just my personal problem. It has nothing to do with you.

[Sure it doesn't have anything to do with Tim. Even if it really didn't, and Tim was just a convenient target, that's still - it's worrying.]

I never got to meet the Jason Todd on my world, before he - before he died.

So far as you know, he's dead?

[Part of him wants to say that Tim should get his Bruce to double check the coffin but he wants to be focused on Tim tonight]

[As far as he knows. And it’s not like he can do anything to check on that now. He’s thought of it.]

[Jason may sound calm, but Tim’s cottoning on that it’s not exactly neutral. Obviously Jason didn’t want him there, but was the other Jason not allowed, either?]

[He's saving that bit of information as a conversation with his other self next time he sees him. Time to move on before he flubs this again]

He and I have our differences. In my world, there wasn't another Robin when I came back.

How long was it?

[Because he can't help but wonder what that means for the other Earth's Tim Drake.]

I died and then five years later, I came back to Gotham. There was never another Robin during that entire time.

[Hence why he was so shocked about Tim when the Confluence dropped them both off]

[Maybe the other Tim Drake just keeps following Batman around silently. Or maybe he doesn't do it at all, and never got involved.] What about Nightwing?

Yeah, Nightwing's still active. Been active since before I was Robin.

[And leaving a legacy Jason could never live up to]

Does he know? That you're alive?

[How much of a mess is Jason's world, and also, is there any chance of salvaging those relationships?]

He does. Last time we saw each other I blew up a train station and busted his leg.

[So. Maybe not that easy to salvage, then. Not that Tim could do much about it from here, with no real ability to affect Jason's world.]

Anyway, a lot has happened to me since I died. My story's similar to the other Jason's except no extra Robins. My personal crap isn't meant to spill over to you or anyone else.

[How well Jason will follow through on that is another story]

[And yet. He's running a small criminal empire. That's not exactly not spilling his personal crap over anyone.

Tim's quiet, although there's still sounds coming from his side of the comms indicating that there's someone still there.]

I'm sorry that I set you off like that.

[He means it too. He doesn't genuinely feel guilty for upsetting the younger Tim after older Tim broke it down for him on what might've been going on in his head]
