Is this really just cause school's over?

[He wasn't really expecting this from anyone else. The Team sometimes did little celebrations for the end of the school year for members still in school, but he wasn't really expecting much from here. On the other hand, it wouldn't be the first time he's met up with someone because they wanted to talk about something in particular.]

Actually, yeah. So far they seem to be more upfront about shit. It's almost like an honor amongst thieves situation. You at least know you gotta stay on your guard when you're signing up with them.

[It’s not like either option is good. In theory, the Society seems more upfront about what it is than whatever the Alliance is turning into, but who knows?]

Kinda challenging, I guess? Mostly because it's a different universe, so like - the history and literature is different.

I'm not looking forward to going back in person next year. At least the quarantine helped with that.
