[Jason may sound calm, but Tim’s cottoning on that it’s not exactly neutral. Obviously Jason didn’t want him there, but was the other Jason not allowed, either?]

He and I have our differences. In my world, there wasn't another Robin when I came back.

[Because he can't help but wonder what that means for the other Earth's Tim Drake.]

I died and then five years later, I came back to Gotham. There was never another Robin during that entire time.

[Hence why he was so shocked about Tim when the Confluence dropped them both off]

[Maybe the other Tim Drake just keeps following Batman around silently. Or maybe he doesn't do it at all, and never got involved.] What about Nightwing?

Yeah, Nightwing's still active. Been active since before I was Robin.

[And leaving a legacy Jason could never live up to]

Does he know? That you're alive?

[How much of a mess is Jason's world, and also, is there any chance of salvaging those relationships?]

He does. Last time we saw each other I blew up a train station and busted his leg.

[So. Maybe not that easy to salvage, then. Not that Tim could do much about it from here, with no real ability to affect Jason's world.]

Anyway, a lot has happened to me since I died. My story's similar to the other Jason's except no extra Robins. My personal crap isn't meant to spill over to you or anyone else.

[How well Jason will follow through on that is another story]

[And yet. He's running a small criminal empire. That's not exactly not spilling his personal crap over anyone.

Tim's quiet, although there's still sounds coming from his side of the comms indicating that there's someone still there.]

[He means it too. He doesn't genuinely feel guilty for upsetting the younger Tim after older Tim broke it down for him on what might've been going on in his head]

You're always welcome to drop by at the bar. Given all the family there. We can have a normal conversation too, without the masks or costumes.

Not at the actual bar but it'd be easy enough to say you're just visiting a relative. There's the attic too.

It's a safehouse. I also let some other kids use it if they need it.

Just some kids I've met who could always use a spare place as refuge. Nico, Hunter, and Dylan. Huvrye, Sleeper, and Eda know about it too. Most of them don't know about the family business though. They just know I'm just a Starfallen citizen who owns the place.

I know. Just that you're free to keep asking if you want. I know a formerly dead Robin becoming the second Red Hood isn't what you would've expected.
